March 2023 State of Leawood

On Tuesday, March 7th at 6pm the Leawood Lions Club general meeting will take place at Leawood City Hall and will feature Leawood Mayor Peggy Dunn. She will present to the club her overview of the State of the City with a report on how Leawood did in 2022 and the year ahead for 2023.

Mayor Peggy Dunn has been a proud member and supporter of the Leawood Lions club.  Maryor Dunn, a lifelong resident of the Greater Kansas City area, graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has served as Mayor of Leawood, Kansas, since 1997. In addition to Peggy’s role as Mayor, she is currently involved with a number of civic organizations, including the Governing Boards of Truman Medical Centers, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Union Station Kansas City, Hall Family Foundation, Rockhurst University, Johnson County Education Research Triangle and Country Club Bank. She serves as an Advisory Board Member of both the Leawood and the Greater Kansas City Chambers of
Commerce.
