The next General Club Meeting of the Leawood Lions Club will take place on Tuesday, March 9th at 6pm and will feature Leawood Mayor Peggy Dunn. She will present to the club her overview of the State of the City as we wind up 2020, the first year of COVID-19 and the look ahead.
Mayor Peggy Dunn is a lifelong resident of the Greater Kansas City area, a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has served as Mayor of Leawood, Kansas, since 1997. In addition to Peggy’s role as Mayor, she is currently involved with a number of civic organizations, including the Governing Boards of Truman Medical Centers, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Union Station Kansas City, Hall Family Foundation, Rockhurst University, Johnson County Education Research Triangle and Country Club Bank. She serves as an Advisory Board Member of both the Leawood and the Greater Kansas City Chambers of
Commerce.
