LEAWOOD LIONS CLUB
The Leawood Lions Club has been a service organization in our community since 1954. During that time hundreds of men and women have devoted time and resources to work together to promote the betterment of our community — and beyond!
The Lions have been active in Kansas for over 100 years. Since 1917, Lions have been helping Kansans with community and humanitarian service. When you join the Lions Club, you join with over 48,000 Lions clubs around the world, representing one in more than 1.4 million men and women guided by kindness to serve our communities and the world in times of need.

MISSION & PURPOSE
Since 1917, the mission of Lions Club is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through volunteerism. The Lions Club motto is We Serve.

LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL
Lions Clubs International is the largest non-profit service organization in the world, with over 1.46M members in over 200 countries. With a Helen Keller legacy of life-changing services for the visually and hearing impaired, the association is also acclaimed for humanitarian support in areas such as the environment, diabetes, pediatric cancer, and eliminating hunger.
Lions are inclusive, where diversity is valued and encouraged, including gender, race, and religion. At the same time, Lions promote and require adherence by its members to the highest ethical standards.
